“Been using it for a 6 days now (a short time frame admittedly), but already I've seen remineralization over a noticeably rough patch of tooth I've had for 10+ years, making it as smooth as other parts of the tooth. Have not tried this against other toothpastes such as Apagard, but it's a huge difference over the old sodium/stannous fluoride formula. What causes sensitive teeth?

Enamel erosion, otherwise known as demineralization, exposes dentin over time from regular use. Demineralization occurs even faster with poor oral hygiene or a diet high in sugary and acidic food.

Dentin has microscopic pathways called dentin tubules that lead to the roots of your teeth. Stimulus like cold food and air can penetrate the tubules to agitate the blood vessels and nerves in the pulp, causing moderate to severe pain.

Can I rinse my mouth with water when I brush my teeth with BioMin Restore? 

No. After brushing your teeth, swish the foam around your mouth for thirty seconds, and expel as much as you can without rinsing with water. If you rinse with water, there won’t be as much BioMin® C remaining in your mouth to provide optimal reinforcement and protection.

How does BioMin Restore alleviate sensitive teeth and help prevent further damage?

BioMin Restore’s essential active ingredient is BioMin® C. When it mixes with your saliva, it creates a bio-engineered compound comprised of called BIORESTORE™ that is similar in chemical structure to tooth enamel.
